How to Host 321 at Your Church

How do you host the 321 Course?

You host 321 by signing up to host your own course, advertising it, gathering interested people, playing the videos and creating space for honest discussion.

Step 1: Sign up to host 321

Sign up to host your own 321 course by completing this form. Answering the simple questions ensures you get the support needed to run your 321 course.

You'll then be emailed a suite of 321 resources including a:
  • Leaders' guide
  • Media pack

These free resources help you prepare and promote your course.

Step 2: Advertise your course

The media pack contains free 321-branded promotional resources to download to help advertise your course.

The 321 media pack includes:
  • Posters
  • Flyers
  • Banners
  • Contact cards
  • Promo videos
  • Social media assets

Download the resources you need and use them to promote your course.

Step 3: Gather a group

This group could be made up of:
  • Long-time Christians
  • New Christians
  • Seekers with questions about life, meaning and Christianity
  • People of no faith
  • People who follow another faith

321 is an introduction to Christianity that assumes no prior knowledge.

It helps both Christians and those exploring faith consider life’s big questions through a simple, accessible framework designed for everyone.

Step 4: Watch together

321 splits into 4 sessions. Each session includes two short videos with plenty of time for discussion.

The sessions are:
  1. Introduction: Jesus
  2. God's Three-ness
  3. The World's Two-ness
  4. Your One-ness

Host your 321 course over 4 weeks, completing one session per week. If you want to go more slowly, then you could try 8 weeks, watching only one video per week. This format works particularly well for youth groups, ESL groups, and groups with less time for a session.

Set up for each session by logging into your 321 account on a computer, phone or tablet. Share your screen to a TV or projector via an HDMI cable or casting service so everyone in the room can see it.

Step 5: Discuss openly

Hosting 321 at church creates space for questions, reflections and honest conversation.

This means:
  • No scripts to follow
  • No prep work ahead of time
  • No pressure on hosts or guests
  • No compulsory homework

Simply hit 'play', watch the videos, then discuss the questions that appear on screen at the end of each video. Pause the videos to spend longer discussing the questions if necessary.

321 course hosts don't need to prepare anything in advance. Although you may find the 321 leaders' guide a useful tool to help you get in the mindset and prepare for questions which might come up for your guests during each session.

Top Tip: Keep it simple

You don’t need to be an expert in Christianity to host 321. You don't need to know all the answers.

All you need is to be hospitable and open with your guests. Let 321 do the hard work of teaching theology and creating discussion for you.
